This guide supports students completing work in J Dempsey's Inquiry Seminar Class: Reality Literature.  After using this guide students should be able to:

  • select appropriate research databases to locate materials
  • use effective search strategies to find relevant materials
  • critically examine information sources and differentiate between scholarly and non-scholarly resources
  • retrieve items in library, get from citations to fulltext sources and understand how to use interlibrary loan and consortium libraries
