As a team, look at the following news articles. Try to find the original research mentioned in the articles. Use the information provided in the article, such as the author of the study and the name of the journal where the study was published.
How hard was it to find the original research? If you were able to find the original research, compare it to the news article. What do you think of the news coverage?
Look for a news article and a peer-reviewed journal on your topic. If you have time, find a white paper or other type of gray literature on your topic. Write down what you found and how you found it. Use the worksheet below to guide you.
