Course Reserves

Reserves policy regarding COVID-19

Due to COVID-19 all physical reserve items will be suspended for the duration of A-term and potentially longer. Find a list of all e-resources on reserve in the Course List tab. If you are a professor looking to utilize a physical reserve item or would like to request the library purchase* an e-resource for A-term, please contact to make accommodations.

*Purchase requests for electronic content will be reviewed and fulfilled, when possible, but there may be acquisition limits due to costs, licensing, or other parameters. Our goal is to consider all requests while balancing fair use, copyright, and short-and long-term resource allocation sustainability.

What are Course Reserves?

Welcome to the Course Reserves Libguide!

Reserves are books or other materials placed behind the front desk in the library that can be checked out with a WPI ID. These materials are usually placed on reserve by professors who are requiring the material for their course. In this guide you will find a complete list of all materials put on reserve in the library and alternate freely accessible materials.
