CH 1020: Chemical Reactions: Periodic Tables

PubChem has a periodic table on which you can choose different properties and trends to display from a dropdown menu. You can also click on an individual element square to see quick property information about the element. The elements are also listed in order of atomic number and you can click links to entries with more detailed descriptions. If you click on the element name, you will be taken to the beginning of the entry. If you click on the property next to the element name, you will be taken to that property in the entry. There is also a game to test you on the locations of elements in the periodic table.

This link is for the Royal Society of Chemistry's periodic table. If you hover over a square, you will find quick information about an element. You can click on different sets of elements, like groups or periods, to find out general characteristics of those elements. You can find out even more information, such as history and videos, about an individual element by clicking on it.

This link is for a periodic table on the American Chemical Society's website. It is simpler, with less data and less clutter. It is possible to download a copy from this page. There are also links to different activities and educational resources for different age groups and ordering a variety of merchandise featuring the periodic table.

This periodic table from Chemical & Engineering News is outdated, but more appropriate for taking a break and finding something that is still informative. If you click on a square, you can read an individual scientist's commentary of the element and see a little box in the upper right corner with quick property information.
