United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): WPI's Progress Report

The SDG Self-Study at WPI

Beginning in early 2022, a cross-university team undertook WPI's first self-study on contributions toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The team began by gathering and submitting data from the WPI community to the annual Impact Ranking, a specialized ranking from Times Higher Education (THE) on university contributions to the SDGs. To supplement the results of the Impact Ranking, the Steering Committee began releasing an annual progress report in addition. The goal of this report is to provide a deeper look into the teaching, research, service, and professional projects that WPI community members engage in related to sustainability and sustainable development. 

Over the past few years, the SDG Steering Committee has continued to monitor and report WPI’s contributions toward the achievement of the SDGs through these annual activities. The latest release can be found below.
