This guide will help WPI users access the library's subscribed content from anywhere there is internet access.

Full-text access with your iOS device

When accessing the library from an iOS mobile device WPI community members may want to create a bookmarklet that will enable them to be authenticated through EZproxy. The specific steps to do this will vary by device but general instructions are as follows:

  1. Open this page using Safari and tap the share icon, then tap Bookmark.  Save the location to your favorites and press done.
  2. Select and copy the following code: 
    javascript:void((function(){location.href='http://ezproxy.wpi.edu/login?url='+encodeURIComponent(location.href);})());
  3. View your favoriotes and tap Edit.  Select the Reload via EZproxy bookmark.  Clear the URL and paste the javascript code into the address field.
  4. Tap done twice, once on the keyboard and once in the favorites box.

The bookmarklet is needed if you are going directly to a journal or database. If you click on an article and cannot see the full text, tap the "Reload via WPI Lib" in your favorites and login with your WPI credentials when prompted. If full text is available through WPI this will allow you to view it.
